As you may have already read, "the boy" turned 18 yesterday... and he had a HUGE party to celebrate the occasion. It was his planning and his doing, but we went along with it and it turned out great.
Over the period of the evening there were probably 30 or more people in my house. They went through 17 pizzas, 13- 2 liter bottles of soda and 2 cake mixes worth of Cake pops(future blog post on these).
The party began at 4 and went until around 12:30. By the looks of my house when I woke up this morning, a good time was had by all. This will probably be the last "birthday party" he will have, so I guess it was okay that a few things were thrashed. It did make me miss the days of a two hour party out in the back yard with goodies bags and a jumper and then everyone went home. :-)
